My Trip to Chattanooga

We had 4 days of holidays for Christmas... We planned for a 2 day trip to Chattanooga.
This is a place in Tennesse.... Quite near to my place... Just 3 hrs from my place...

Ok...I might be very slow.... or not in pace with whats happenning around me in the internet world....
I just created my personalized google web page.... Its cool I liked the concept of this....

And I am waiting for it to be evening.... have 4 days holiday.... Yippee!!!!!!!!!

My first Long Drive!!!

Been so long since I have updated my blog with posts...
Well life has been quite busy these days...

And yes... not much happening too... Just wanted to post today...

Oh ya!!! I got my driver's license... and yday we had been to Atlanta...(1.5 - 2 hrs from my place)... And i drove till there.... It was good... My first long drive... and it was amazing...

I was a little happy a little scared... Had never driven a car before coming here... and now driving in 70 mph with so much traffic.... was a little scary.... But slowly got used to it... It kind of gets monotonous but then sometimes feels good....

This is just the begining... :) I hope to do a lot more driving... not just to atlanta... but to go around nearby places too...

I have 4 days of holiday for christmas... but no plans as of yet...
Hope to go to some nearby places.... Lets see.. what happens....

Smokey Trip Part-III

Very late - dint find time to complete the story.. so here is the concluding part :)

After our Adventure on Saturday... we wanted to enjoy to our level best on Sunday... We had plans of going to Blue Ridge Parkway, but then we thought instead we will go to top of Smokey Mountains to get a nice view (of being on top of the huge mountains)



We started around 11 from our cabin (that was our check out time...) and then headed towards..the Smokey National Park...then went towards the tower... On the way we stopped number to places for the view points... The view from there was just amazing.. We tried to capture everything in our cameras... But nature is always best viewed naturally... We enjoyed each and every view point...



Finally reached the point where we had to climb to reach the peak point...We had to climb a steep (not that much) path to reach the point... We made our climb a bit easier by stopping by and taking photos... and looking at the scenary...Sometimes it felt..."Oh God!!! How much more should I climb" but then just turning around...looking at the beauty... it would just encourage more to reach the top....
Reaching the top we just had to climb a circular tower.... Here is where we could get the 360 degree view :)



And after reaching there.... Wow it was just so wonderful... "Top of the Smokies" Small hills around....Mountains around.... However far u look just see mountains n mountains... Wow it was so much worth the climb.... :D
We were there for around 15 mins... Then started to come down.... Again we stopped at so many points... to enjoy the scenic beauty...

Finally we started off back home at 3.00 PM. And reached home around 10.00 PM all tired and sleepy.
