I miss You... bro

"World is becoming Smaller" with the means of communication...But when it comes to family... how much ever these means of communication is advanced... its the personal touch....
But i am very grateful to this... I can call my family anytime i want... I can mail all my loved ones... :)
Even though its not the personal touch... I am in constant touch with them ... :)

Well... i know that everybody knows abt the means of communication... It s just an incident which i just wanna write about...

When i was in Mysore... "Y dont u reactivate ur mail account and mail me" ... I always used to ask my Bro... He used to say... What will i mail u....

Then I came here.. I told him atleast open an email account.. I'll send u my photos there... He is busy going to tutions and college.. so asked my cousin to atleast get the internet conn at home... Finally things got installed....and started working...

I wanted some document from my PC for my friend, so asked bro to send me the mail....
Well he sent it and then i replied to him... and thats all..

Well bro n me always have a debating conversation... or fun conversation... like who s better Dravid or Sachin... India is good in cricket or not... Schumi or Montoya..... Or movies... Aamir Khan is good or no.. Whom to tease at home.... reality of WWF...etc etc....
I always used to tell him i am gonna miss him... He never uttered a word abt it...Even when i call home.. he talks for 2 mins and then gives the ph to mom...So mailing me... well its obv he wouldnt...

I opened my mailbox yday.... and what a surprise.. My bro mails me...
And these words just left a mark on my heart....

"I will give u RakhsaBandhan Gift once u back"

"Take care of ur health, eat well and sleep properly"

My eyes were moist when i read these lines... And he even said.. "Dont worry i will take care of ma" .. He has surely become a big boy i thought... Well to me he would always be my sweet little bro....
He wrote "We miss U".... I knew this, but never expected him to say it to me.....

Oh!!!!!!!!! I miss u too my sweet brother!!!!!!!! I just love u so much......

very senti post. I miss fighting with my sis when she is not there, just like you. We used to fight over nothing at all. No reason ... chumma argue. Now mails, phone ... still that closeness is missing.

That's a sweet post !!! I hardly ever make known my feelings to my sister... Well that's more to do with the sibling rivalry that keeps going on between the two of us... But then, that just does not change a thing, right ?

You should be really really glad that your bro took that effort to drop you a line... Call me bad bro, but Coming to think of it, am not sure if I would have done that...

Sweet and touching post :)

Even I feel I hardly express my feelings for my sis. We too fight (and discuss) over several issues - some of what you mesntioned, on her programming after she took CS as her subject, and what not!

Take care Arathi! :)

Mitu,

Very true... Bro s generally dont tell it out... and most of the time.. its the rivalry which is shown outside... but deep inside.... its the caring and loving nature...
Once in a while when someone express feelings.. it feels really gr8...

Gayathri,
Well i too miss fighting and arguing with my bro... Although these medium are no way near to the physical presence... but it allows us to be atleast near to each other in a way...

Gangadhar,
Well it was not just for Raakhi... that was just a coincidence :)

Somu,
Well sibling rivalry is still there b/w us too... ;)
When we talk on ph... its always pulling each other's leg...
Well i wouldnt call u a bad bro...:)

Fictinal Reality,
I think its the same everywhere :)

I've got a little brother too...just 13 years of age. When I first came here, he never called me. Few days later he called me and said..."mane eshtu nishabda vaagide goththa?? Neen yaake hode alli? We all miss you so much here" By that I understood what I left behind. I hadnt cried until then...I've never seen him be so emotional. I guess all brothers are this way :)

Touching! It always so happens that we realize how important someone or something is for us only when we are away from it hai na? :) And not too sure if many would agree with me but men are affectinate people too, just that they do not (or cannot) express the emotions by words!!

Nicely written! Given enough words to emotions! :)

Hey!! it's quite tough to know wat's on ur bro's mind. Even I have a li'l bro, though no longer li'l for himself. I always wonder 'Does he even care if I exist!!' It's always me who calls him n urge him to talk, and make my best effort to keep the conversation going for at least 10 mins. I was actually trying to call him when I came across this post.
Nice blog, btw and a beautiful Leaf err Lion.
